Co-Founder, Board Member

A senior at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School in Massachusetts, Max is an avid computer science enthusiast as well as a native speaker of German, Russian, and English. Leveraging his computer science and language skills, as well as his relationships in the sports world, Max built and manages The Bond of Sports Foundation's website and all the software applications we use to manage our business from handling donations to matching eligible Ukrainian youth athletes with lodging and training facilities in various different countries.

Co-Founder, Board Member

Nina has a passion for languages, art, and computer science. A senior at Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School in Massachusetts, she was learning Ukrainian to add to her native knowledge of German, Russian and English when Putin invaded Ukraine. Applying her linguistic and artistic talents, Nina manages our marketing and communications. She directly communicates with displaced Ukrainian youth athletes, documents the stories, and shares them with potential donors all around the globe.

Secretary, Board Member

A seasoned executive and studio manager at Ogrudek LTD, Kara is responsible for managing and maintaining The Bond of Sports Foundation's internal communications and records. In this capacity, she prepares and tracks our board meeting agendas and minutes while completing correspondence on behalf of the board and organization.

Treasurer, Board Member

Freda is CFO for several venture-backed med-tech start-ups. In the not-for-profit sector; Freda serves as senior advisor to the CFO at Natural Resources Defense Council, an organization leading climate change initiatives and ensuring the rights of all people to clean air, clean water and healthy communities. Freda has served other leading not-for-profits such as Earthjustice and Room to Read. Freda is a PricewaterhouseCoopers trained Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S.B.A from Georgetown University and serves as Board of Governor.

At the Bond of Sports Foundation, she is responsible for establishing and maintaining our financial controls, implementing accounting policies and procedures, recognizing our donations, tax compliance and preparing and filing our financial reports.

Board Member

Tania is a Mezzo-Soprano: Opera, Concert, and Recital Singer of Ukrainian descent with a background in digital marketing. She has a special interest in supporting Ukraine at this time and to date has contributed to raising tens of thousands of dollars for Ukraine. At the Bond of Sports Foundation, Tania will support our donor outreach efforts, athlete support, volunteer recruiting, and online marketing efforts.

Board Member

Harold is a seasoned executive with experience in sales, customer success, business operations, and service across both enterprise and startup environments. At The Bond of Sports Foundation, he will support our day-to-day business operations working closely with our Treasurer, Secretary, and Founders to grow our donation volume while optimizing our athlete outreach and support activities.

Board Member

Philip is a serial entrepreneur and helicopter instructor. He teaches data science, computer science, and aeronautical engineering at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has served as a corporate board member for MIT spin-off companies. At the Bond of Sports Foundation, he provides oversight regarding software and system design.
